The challenge
The aquatic centre runs a high volume of lessons and wanted to simplify skill entry during class without slowing instructors down or adding more paper worksheets.

Real-world results
Swimo was co-developed with aquatic centres. Here is how two teams use the platform to simplify attendance, progress tracking and family communications.

First aquatic centre in Quebec to obtain LEED Gold certification, the Centre aquatique Desjardins de Granby brings together two indoor pools, a heated outdoor pool and facilities designed as much for training as for family activities. A flagship infrastructure that combines accessibility, innovation and environmental performance.
The aquatic centre runs a high volume of lessons and wanted to simplify skill entry during class without slowing instructors down or adding more paper worksheets.
Swimo was configured around the programs offered, the skills to assess and the active groups. Instructors work from interactive tablet worksheets with quick access to must-see skills and ready-to-reuse comments.
In-lesson data entry becomes faster, individual and group progress is easier to see, and coordinators can review results before they are shared with families.
« The interface simplifies data entry during lessons and helps instructors track progress far more efficiently. »

With 18 outdoor pools, 13 wading pools and 21 splash pads, in addition to diversified programming in its indoor pools, the City of Longueuil deploys a large-scale aquatic offering across its entire territory. Its teams make swimming, fitness and bathing accessible to a diverse population, summer and winter.
The municipal team deals with frequent registration changes and had to reprint attendance sheets for every lesson, which slowed down operations on pool deck.
Swimo was rolled out for digital attendance and up-to-date group lists. Registrations are synchronized or imported depending on the source, and the attendance interface is optimized for tablet use.
Attendance becomes fast to record, registration changes are reflected automatically in the lists, and instructors no longer work from outdated printed sheets.
« Taking attendance has become fast, and registration changes are reflected without reprinting sheets. »
